The Founder
Funmi Alagbe
Funmi Alagbe is a visionary parenting coach and founder of Rise2Parent, equipping families to raise resilient, value-driven children who lead with purpose in a fast-changing world. She is the convener of the Identity Summit, a global event empowering parents to build legacy families grounded in truth and identity.
A Certified Parent Educator and Certified Masteries Practitioner™, Funmi brings deep expertise in managing misbehavior, guiding digital-age parenting, and nurturing character and life skills. With a professional background as a Senior Data Analyst and over a decade in geoscience and project management, she blends systems thinking with practical family strategies.
Her cross-cultural parenting experience spans Nigeria, Canada, and the UK, where she’s also served on school councils and worked in education. Funmi is the author of How to Talk to Your Child About Sex Without Shame and is passionate about helping parents lead intentionally and raise children who thrive.
Joy Johnson
Chief Operating Officer
Joy holds a degree in Education and brings five years of teaching experience alongside ongoing volunteer work with organizations, where she teaches teenagers and serves as a workshop resource person. She also manages parenting communities, giving her direct insight into the everyday concerns and questions parents face.
This combination of classroom experience, youth engagement, and community management shapes her work as COO, where she oversees operations, outreach, and content strategy ensuring Riser’s programmes speak to what both children and parents genuinely need today.

Modupe Olabenjo, PMP, CSPO
Strategic Partner
Modupe Olabenjo is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) with over 10 years of experience supporting startups and growing organizations. Her work has centered on bringing structure, clarity, and disciplined execution to organizational
goals and objectives, helping founders and leadership teams translate vision into actionable strategy, and building the systems, frameworks, and processes needed to move ideas from concept to sustainable operation.
She currently serves as a Project Coordinator at Q-Line Trucking, a logistics company based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where she supports project execution on major industrial construction initiatives.
Throughout her career, she has developed a reputation for building order out of complexity, whether working with early-stage startups navigating rapid growth or supporting operational projects that require careful coordination across multiple stakeholders.
